About Price Companies William J. Price, the President and founder of Price Companies, Inc., retired from the Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) as a Lieutenant after twenty years of service. During his law enforcement career, Lieutenant Price commanded the OCPD's contingent for VIP security (U. S. Presidents, Vice Presidents, Cabinet Secretaries and other high-level U. S. and foreign dignitaries). In 1982 Lieutenant Price was assigned the responsible for the creation, implementation, and administration of the Field Training and Evaluation Program, the formalized on-the-job training program which is still in use by the OCPD.
In 1989, SSSI, responded to its clients' growing security needs with the addition of the Corporate Investigation Division. CID is comprised of investigators with experience in covert and overt operations. All investigators are licensed and the majority have a background in law enforcement. Investigative services include internal and external fraud, employee theft and misconduct, and worker's compensation fraud to name a few. Pre-employment background searches were added in 1994 to assist clients with employment decisions. In 1995, Price Companies was established as an umbrella under which all current and future services would operate. That same year, Safety and Environmental Services, Inc., was created. SESI provides quality, cost-effective safety and environmental training for certifications required by OSHA. Training is available on-site or in our classroom. SESI also provides Environmental Due Diligence Compliance, and Phase 1 and 2 Audits,. As CCTV became more advanced and customer demand for the product increased, the Security Electronics Division was established in order to offer clients the latest technology available. SED designs systems according to each client's specifications and needs. CCTV systems have the advantage of providing increased security, usually without adding to payroll expenditures. Price Companies continues to research and develop products and services to meet its clients varied security needs. William J. Safety
and Security Services, Inc. (SSSI), was established in 1977 when Lieutenant
Price began offering private security to celebrities visiting Oklahoma City. SSSI grew in a
steady and deliberate fashion, through client referral only, until incorporated in 1982. With
an ongoing research and development effort, SSSI, continued to offer additional services and
established itself as one of Oklahoma's premier providers of complete contract security services,
offering armed and unarmed security officers, patrol, intrusion alarm response and closed circuit
TV (CCTV).
