William J. Price, Founder and CEO Price Companies and Safety and Security Services Inc

Service awards On the morning of August 21, 2009, Safety and Security Services, Inc., began a new yearly tradition, of recognizing our dedicated employees, for their years of service. Service awards consisting of a lapel pin and choice of gift catalogs were presented to employees with 5, 10 and 15 years of service.

Bill Price presented awards to approximately 30 employees, thanking them for their contribution in making Safety and Security Services, Inc., the successful business it is today.

Mr. Price created another award, the Employee of the Quarter/Year Program. One exceptional employee every quarter will be added to a plaque and receive a $50 bonus. From this list, Employee of the Year will be chosen and will receive a $200 check. The employee of the First Quarter was Randall Conder and the Second Quarter is Mark Smith.

Following both presentations in the training room at the SSSI offices, there was a buffet, where everyone took the time to visit with old friends and eat. Hope to see you there next year. Click here to see the pictures of the awards.

SSSI Named one of the 2007 Metro 50! Safety and Security Services Inc. was named by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce to this prestigeous list which recognizies the fastest growing privately held companies in the Greater Oklahoma City metro area. According to the Journal Record this impressive and diverse group of 50 companies is driving growth in our economy and helping to make central Oklahoma a great place to work and live. Company president and CEO William J. Price will be recognized at an award dinner on Thursday September 27 at the Cox Business Services Convention Center.

William J. Price selected to compete for Award.-- William J. Price, president and CEO of Safety and Security Services, Inc. was selected by the Oklahoma District Office of the Federal Small Business Administration, (SBA) to compete for the Oklahoma Minority Small Business Person of the Year Award. The award recognizes the individual in the state who best exemplifies successful minority entrepreneurship. The District Office winners go on to compete for Regional and National awards.

SSSI named a top business since 2006. For several years, SSSI has been recognized by Diversity.com as one of the top Minority small businesses in Oklahoma and the United States.
